When the sun comes up or sets over the mountains of far west Texas and the clouds are just right, this region of the state is breathtaking. I thought I’d share some of my favorites from the seven regions of Texas. While lots of folks I know like to sleep in, many of my photos show reasons why I choose to wake up early when I’m traveling or even at home. I’m blessed to have experienced many over my years in the Texas. As an amateur photographer, I understand the phrase “a picture is worth a thousand words,” especially when it comes to sunrises and sunsets.
